The Magento plugin is a native PHP plugin developed by the EshopsWithIQ team. It is designed to make the initial installation as easy as possible and to give the eshop owner access to all the features of the platform.

The plugin will connect the eshop to the EshopsWithIQ platform, sending information about products, orders and visitor behavior, so that the analytics mechanism will operate correctly.

About Magento

Magento is an open source eCommerce platform written in PHP. Uses many other PHP frameworks, such as Laminas and Symfony. Magento source code is distributed under the Open Software License (OSL) v3.0, an Open Source Initiative (OSI) approved license that is similar to AGPL but does not comply with the GPL.

On November 17, 2015, Magento 2.0 was released. Features that have changed in V2 include: reduced table locking problems, improved page caching, corporate-level scalability, built-in rich snippets for structured data, a new file structure with easier customization, CSS preprocessing using LESS & CSS URL resolver improved performance and a more structured code base. Magento uses the relevant MySQL or MariaDB database management system, PHP programming language, and Zend Framework components.
